It also believes “For Faith’s Sake” is actually referring to Faith’s Japanese alcohol…
When you enjoy one thing more than another, would it be spelt “prefer” or “prefere”? According to my brain (which spent many years studying French through high school and college) it would be the latter… which, coincidentally, is INCORRECT.
Most recently Brain has taken to throwing in doubble letters at ranndom. Or leaving them out, like when I wrote a report, handed it to my boss, only to be called into his office later to discuss the correct spelling of ASSESS (your favorite redhead left off an “s” there at the end.. hu hu, get it? end? asses? *tap tap* anybody out there?)

It’s like Damn You Auto Correct except it’s my BRAIN. Who told it to harras me so?? HARASS! I MEANT HARASS!
did I just bold/italic a dirty word on my blog? good thing my mother doesn’t read it…

That’s my excited face… the LOSER that broke into my house and stole all my stuff pawned my $1,500 laptop for $70. Probably to go buy an eight ball or something equally productive. Moral of the story – PAWNED STUFF GETS RETURNED TO THE OWNER!! 

So now I can do productive things like facebook, blog, download music, read recipes I’ll never make, etc… YIPEE!

Jamie & Jenni, you can now go back to your regularly scheduled lives. I know you’ve missed me

But then, I broke my blessed iphone on the Texas-hot concrete. So… I’m sorry I’ve been MIA, but hopefully this issue will be fixed soon and your daily lives can return to normal. I’m sure you’re completely lost without my sporatic, incoherent blog posts.

2. do you miss anyone right now?

Yes, but I doubt they know it. The debate is always if you should tell them you miss them. Oi.

3. if you could move anywhere else, would you?

Yes. Fo’Sho’. I miss Fort Worth, I miss Europe, I miss traveling. I miss friends. I would move to a place I didn’t exactly love just to be near friends again. Like NYC, which is way too big and cementy for my taste, but I would bite that bullet in heartbeat to be within a taxi drive of Nevada. Or Kansas City, a little too far north and way too many Affliction tshirts, but Jamie and Kasey are there! Or how about Tulsa, I like Tulsa… AND there’s a Jenniboo around the corner! Chicago with SaySay? D.C. with SteffyBeth? Back to the dreaded NWA for Bitsy, LJ, Anna and a few others? Oh how I miss these people… Remind me again what I’m doing in MIAMUH?

4. if you could choose, what would your last meal be?

It’s a quick draw between H3 and Ruth’s Chris. Either way it’s death by juicy, succulent red meat

5. what famous person, dead or alive, would you want to have lunch with?

It would have to be a girl’s lunch with Marilyn, Rita, Audrey, Annie, Sophia, Mae, and whoever else sauntered their sex appeal into the room. I’ll save my serious questions for the Golden Gates.

Water for Elephants. Again.

How to Loose A Guy in 10 Days… that movie is ALWAYS on tv.

Someone sent me “Lonely Girl” in a text message. I didn’t even know you could do that!

a permanent one.

Probably Kansas City to get a TAT with James next weekend. Does that count?

Yes! G>V>B>C baby. First thought: Ew I do not miss those showers. haha

Something frivolous… like who wins the Super Bowl next year.

I’m lucky enough to have more than one… but none of them are with ME and that is a problem!

I can think of 3 of my best friends who are ready for a move. I say we all move together somewhere!

ANYONE i work with. Seriously. male of female, young or old. My place of work is like the beauty salon of my little town. People come in jusssst to get the latest dish.

“um neither i don’t guess” how intriguing, right??

18. what are 3 things you’ve always wanted to do, that you still plan to accomplish?

Give back to the Troops. Get my yoga certification. Plant a garden. 

19. what is one thing you learned from your parents?

from my mother “wear lipstick. it ‘brings your color out’” which is mom for “you look pale. put something on your face.” haha

from my father “don’t mix good whiskey with dr.pepper. it makes you look cheap.” which is father for “you aren’t allowed to drink my good whiskey if you’re going to ruin it.” hahaha 

20. what is one thing you hope to teach to your own children?

I just hope I can teach them how to tie their shoes and say their ABC’s. If I can accomplish that, then we can take on the big life lessons. Let’s back up a little though… I don’t even have kids!! haha.

this weekend i went camping with my buds, jamie and kasey, and a few new buds. on sunday i had plenty of time to myself, so i did a little of what i like to call “galivanting”. it’s when you just go wherever, stop whenever, keep the sunroof open, even if it means letting a little sprinkle of fresh spring rain hit the top of your head… 

i backroaded all over creation. i even stopped and took pictures of old delapidated houses on the side of the road. i bothered old men walking across the road from their barn to their home to ask questions about the delapidated house. and i even got invited into his home to meet his adorable old wife, Mary Virginia (love that name), who showed me her flower beds and her fruit cellar. and then we went to their “guest house” and i got a tour of that. it was a doll house, complete with matching twin beds that Mary Virigina and her brother slept in when they were babies and shared a room. and then Hubert showed me his garden, with 12 rows of yellow corn, 2 rows of sunflowers, snap peas, white corn, sweet taters, regular taters, and so much more… then he drove me in his flat-bed truck with the seat pulled up as close to the wheel as possible (because he’s getting old and his legs are shrinking) to a log cabin that was going to be torn down a few years ago, but Hubert saved it. when he found out it was going to be torn down, he drove to the cabin’s original plat, paid a man $50 for it, took it apart log by log, and then brought it back to his homestead (where 3 other houses already exist) and put it back together, just like it was when it was built, before the Civil War. it even has a dry sink, a rope bed, and a latch string door. he told me he’d always the leave the latch string out for me

i invited him to my wedding… whenever that may be.

some people just refresh your soul.
some Sundays just give a new sense of happiness.
